Dale Eddison pledges to support communities in Skipton

Following the release of the £30,000 community pot, Dale Eddison has kicked off several new partnerships with Skipton based community groups as part of their commitment to support and give back to communities in the areas they operate in.

The Skipton branch, based on the High Street in Skipton has partnered with Skipton Junior Football Club by donating £400 towards new kits. Catherine Davison, Funding Secretary at the club says, “'The club is so pleased to be supported by Dale Eddison in Skipton. Our new Boys U7s team are so excited with the brand new kit and it will help them bond as a team in their first season of playing for the Club. Another great aspect of this support is that when the boys grow out of the kit, another new U7s team can then use it - it's a win win!'”

The branch has also linked up with Carleton Endowed Primary School by giving £250 towards new IT equipment and Skipton Swimming Club where they have pledged to donate £300 towards kit and training equipment for the swimming sessions.

Dale Eddison’s Branch Manager of the Skipton branch, Helen Carter, says “We are always looking for ways to support our local community. We’re committed to supporting schools and groups in the local area and we’re thrilled to be able to deliver a little joy to these groups after a challenging few months following Covid-19.

“We have been at the very heart of Skipton for 4 years and there are many home-grown members of staff working in the business that will be familiar faces to many. As an independent Yorkshire based agency, we are proud of our strong roots and are delighted to have the opportunity of giving something back to the community whenever we can, which is why we have also relaunched our ‘Give Back Scheme’. For every person that is associated with the schools, who chooses to sell or let a managed property through us, we will donate £250 to the community group upon completion of the sale or letting of their property.”
