We are delighted to sponsor Andy Shickell for the upcoming Keighley Cougars Allstars game against Jake Webster All Stars on the 18th of June.

The game is part of a testimonial year to honour Jake Webster’s illustrious Rugby League career, and all money raised from sponsorships and ticket sales will be donated to the wonderful charity, Life For a Kid.

Life For a Kid was founded in March 2009 to help children under 16 years old by providing equipment and finances to help children who require life-saving or life-changing operations.

At Dale Eddison, we are always looking for ways to give back to our local communities, and this game is a perfect opportunity to do just that as the town comes together to raise money for the charity whilst celebrating Webster’s career.

Helen Carter, our Branch Manager in Skipton, worked for the Cougars for many years and is more than happy to show our support. “With my past history and affinity with the Cougars and Andy, we are delighted to sponsor him for such a great cause.

“As a company, we understand and value the importance of giving back and supporting the communities we serve whenever we can.”

The event will include two matches, with a Rugby League All Stars side taking on a team of Hull KR supporters before Andy takes to the field in the main spectacle.

Shickell played as a prop forward for the Cougars for six seasons, scoring 24 tries in 119 games from 2009-2014.
